Belfast trio Not Squares achieved no small measure of critical acclaim with their debut album, a neat fusion of electronics and pop nous.
Heading back into the studio, the three-piece have tightened those nuts and screwed those bolts. New full length 'Bolts' will be released on April 27th, with Clash able to premiere sample cut 'Simpler Vibe'.
There's a Kraftwerk feeling to the vocoder, while the crystalline synths are reminiscent of early Human League.
Synth-pop delivered with a serving of panache, it's a stylish return which finds Not Squares refining what they do rather than re-inventing their sound.
