Premiere: No Hot Ashes – ‘Skint Kids Disco’

Shaking off the January blues...

Stockport's No Hot Ashes are easing themselves into 2018 with some style.

The band's effervescent approach saw them reach a fresh level in 2017, matching their slinky Metronomy style synth melodies to some crunching indie vibes.

Shaking off the January blues, lively new cut 'Skint Kids Disco' is one long exhortation to get out on the dancefloor and shake your body.

Frontman Isaac Taylor says: "We wrote this song with every intention of writing an outright disco-pop anthem. 'Skint Kids Disco' incorporates a multitude of sounds and elements that are reminiscent of the music styles we love as individual musicians. Sleazy guitar tones, fat funk bass lines and big disco beats."

Tune in now.

No Hot Ashes will release their new 'Skint Kids Disco' EP on March 30th. Catch the band at the following shows:

March
1 Leeds Lending Room
9 Cardiff Clwb Ifor Bach
10 Bristol Mr Wolf
25 Manchester Sound & Stage
