A cult, grunge-inspired outfit from Ireland, Kerbdog's strident, often inspirational songwriting left a deep impact on all who heard it.
Reforming earlier this year, the band's return caused no small amount of rejoicing. Take the word of Biffy Clyro's Simon Neil: "Kerbdog are one of the most underrated bands ever. Their debut album and 'On The Turn' should be part of everyone's rock education. They opened my eyes to what was possible with riffs and melody and they're the reason we worked with Garth Richardson on our last three records. It's a crime that Kerbdog are not held aloft by every band in the country as heroes."
Announcing a full UK tour, Kerbdog are set to charm fans all over again. Nine Black Alps' Sam Forrest has stepped in, recording a cover of one of his favourite Kerbdog tracks.
Working alone, his rendition of 'JJ's Song' has a haunting, almost Americana feel.
Check it out now.
