Rising three-piece Night Owls can't help but be affected by the environment they live in.
Times are tough, there's no mistaking that, and economic pressure makes art more vital – but also more difficult – with each passing day.
With a dark-edged grunge sound delivered in a taut, minimalist fashion, incoming EP 'Tragically Human' is a vital, corrosive document.
“This EP is really a product of our current social climate,” the three-piece explain. “At the moment it really feels like the world needs a kick up the arse – and it’s had an effect on the subject matter of the music we write. 'Tragically Human' isn’t really a political statement, it’s more of an account on modern life in an attempt to understand our frailty as humans”.
We're able to share new song 'Keeper' and it twists and turns around that solid, Brutalist guitar riff burrowing a hole into your consciousness.
Entrancing, hypnotic, and ultra-precise, it's a lazer-sharp return rooted in austerity rebellion. Tune in now.
