Given the flood of new music tumbling through record shops across the land, it takes a defined identity to truly stand out.
Right from its first release, Phantasy has been able to supply fans with something definitive, something they simply couldn't get elsewhere.
Toasting its 35th release, Phantasy have decided to take control of an entire wall in London's Rough Trade East. Joining the distinctive Phantasy Light Organ will be releases from label lynchpins such as founder Erol Alkan, long time Clash favourite Daniel Avery, Ghost Culture, Connan Mockasin, In Flagranti, BTU, LA Priest, Nadia Ksaiba and more.
Phantasy have also pressed up something special for this event. A limited run of hand stamped 12 inches will be available, featuring two previously unreleased cuts.
Daniel Avery's 'The Eagle' will be given a Raudive remix, while new signings Ghost Culture will be represented by 'Half Closed'.
Stream previews of both tracks first on Clash.
But wait! That's not all… Phantasy will be running a week long competition, asking fans to go into the Rough Trade East shop and take a photograph of the Phantasy Light Organ. Simply post the results to the label's Twitter or Facebook (alternatively tag them on Instagram and Vine) and the Phantasy team will pick the winner.
Up for grabs are one of these super limited 12's, a Phantasy mug and a 'Check Out Your Mind' Erol Alkan t-shirt. So get down there!Relat
