At its shortest distance the English channel is remarkably easy to cross – hell, some people even swim over.
Yet in pop terms, it remains a difficult passage to travel. Nat Jenkins seemed to manage it OK, however, basing himself in Paris since late 2013.
Building a new group, the move seems to have allowed the songwriter's imagination to blossom, resulting in a renewed French-British bond.
Fresh from releasing a novel, Nat is also working on two short films. It's music, though, that really inspires him, with new album 'Back To The Island' out now on French label Mirador.
Clash is able to premiere a new version of 'Quarter To Three', that combines nascent indie songcraft with a certain degree off gallic charm.
