Coming of age in London, My Panda Shall Fly – real name Suren Seneviratne – couldn't help but absorb the sounds around him.
Drawn to electronic music, the aspiring producer caught the tail end of jungle, the emergence of breaks, the UK garage explosion and more.
Getting behind the decks, My Panda Shall Fly began crossing boundaries – after all, that's all he heard around him.
Since then, the London based artist has refined his own sense of production, honing his own voice in the process.
A remix on last year's Creaked Records remix compilation album, My Panda Shall Fly has re-united with the label for a new EP. Loose-limbed, at times almost jazz-like percussion ripples underneath currents of sound, with the producer moving in entrancing new directions.
Utilising all manner of samples, 'No Secrets' feels much more substantial than the EP format allows. Chopping up samples and adding a renewed sense of melody, it's at once challenging and immediately absorbing.
