Long running and in no small way influential, Melt Banana returned last year.
Attributing their break to the Great East Japan Earthquake in 2011, the trio are now fully operating and are continuing to commit bizarre, wonderful experiments on the flesh of rock 'n' roll.
Seemingly re-configured as a three piece rhythm section, Melt Banana released new album 'Fetch' earlier this year. Blistering in every sense of the word, it was every bit as ferocious and uncompromising as fans hoped – with a degree of humour and personality in there, too.
Setting off on a UK tour, Melt Banana have decided to share a new video for 'Lefty Dog (Run Caper Run)'. Yako explains:
"The song title is 'Lefty Dog (Run Caper Run)'. It is the second music video from our album 'Fetch'. It was directed by Iroha who does VJ for our shows in Japan sometimes. Like the first video 'The Hive' it is very colourful and we like how it looks very much".
