Premiere: Master Shortie – Where I’m @

South London rapper returns...

Master Shortie is offering fans a preview of new EP 'Nobody Taught Me' – listen to it first on Clash.

Master Shortie has been on the sidelines for some time, patiently honing his craft, working on his identity. A true South London boy, the rapper was brought up on the pirate scene, trading verses with Wiley befriending the likes of Dot Rotten in the process.

Watching their progress, Master Shortie bided his time. Sure, debut album 'ADHD' arrived in 2009 but it's template – underground dance meets pop – was just a little too far ahead of the curve.

With the charts now catching up to his vision, the time is right for Master Shortie to signal his return. New EP 'Nobody Taught Me' is set to be released early next year, combining Shortie's effortless flow with pop-friendly production and that buoyant, contagious energy he calls his own.

Ahead of this, Clash is able to premiere new cut 'Where I'm @'. Very much a statement of intent, it finds Master Shortie shuffling between the twin poles of Prince-style showmanship and grime pedigree.

Listen to it now.

'Nobody Taught Me' will be released in early 2014.
