Belgium's music scene is compact yet hugely creative.
It's a place which can spawn the hardcore techno of early R&S Records, yet also produce the long-standing art rock of dEUS.
Well, Magnus brings those two poles together. A duo featuring Tom Barman from dEUS and rave veteran C.J. Bolland, the results seem to match the brittle appeal of techno production to the songcraft of, say, vintage Depeche Mode.
New album 'Where Neon Goes To Die' is out now, with Editors' frontman Tom Smith stopping by on 'Singing Man'.
Set to gain a full single release, the newly re-vamped version of 'Singing Man' now features the imposing growl of Mark Lanegan. Remarkably, given those hugely varied influences, it's works!
