Stockholm duo MAASAI have a fine line in sweeping, artful pop music.
The group seem to thrive on that peculiarly Scandinavian electronic vision, lending a glacial edge to their often frankly emotive songwriting.
New album 'Feeling Blue, Seeing Orange' will be released on November 20th, and it's an enticing document, packed with sharp corners and allusive meaning.
MAASAI comment: "Feeling Blue, Seeing Orange's creation process can be described as the space between fiction and reality. A collision between different parts that together creates something stronger and more beautiful."
Clash is able to air new cut 'I.D.S.H.' – and it's a sublime synth concoction. The clinical production has a chrome-plated finish, while the vocals seem to draw you further in with each passing syllable.
