Lucas Nord has music in his veins.
The grandson of a lauded Scandinavian jazz musician, the Swedish songwriter had a clear grasp of what he wanted to achieve from a young age.
Drawn towards R&B and pop influences, Lucas approaches this with a real sense of intelligence. Each song is artfully crafted, with forthcoming mini-album 'Company' set to brighten up your music library in 2016.
For now, Clash is able to unveil new cut 'Faking'. The song draws from personal experience, the supple melodies and enthralling vocals wrapping themselves around a tender lyric.
Lucas Nord explains: "'Faking' was the first song from the new album where I felt that I had found a sound and a theme to write about. It's basically about wasting your time on someone who doesn't feel the same as you. I think 'Faking' is a great track to present the new stuff as it's a theme that runs through the whole album and gives you an idea of what to expect."
