Produced by Jim Sclavunos...

In many ways, guitar music is just too damned polite.

British groups seem content to just exist, too scared to rock the boat or even seize the helm.

Lola Colt, though, are not afraid. Virtually everything the band place their name against has a sizeable bite, a sense of passion and visceral ambition.

Hailing from London, new single 'Vacant Hearts' was produced by long time Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds cohort Jim Sclavunos. Opening with an acoustic guitar, it's a more textured, layered and dare we say it mature return from the group.

Yet that inherent darkness remains. Out on June 2nd, 'Vacant Hearts' is a piece of psychedelic noir, a driven, deranged piece of rock music which wants to stomp, snarl and kick the competition out of the way.

Check it out below.

Lola Colt are set to launch the single with a show at London venue Oslo on June 4th.
