Newcastle trio Lisbon have a tropical feel to their songwriting.
Outrageously buoyant and laced with colour, the three-piece match thumping hip-hop beats to some impeccable indie pop melodies.
New single 'Tyler' was produced by Dan Austin, and it's a blazing return, laced with day-glo colours.
The track actually owes a debt to a cinematic classic, as the band explain:
"'Tyler' takes its inspiration from Fight Club character Tyler Durden, who leads an army of ‘slaves in white collars’ against the establishment. It’s built around today’s lost generation, working for the weekend, dreaming of the California sun."
A superbly poised return, you can check it out.
