Leena Ojala was born in Germany to a Finnish father and English mother, decamping to Hong Kong before finally landing in Essex.
A perpetual wanderer, Leena made her way to the bright lights of London at just 17, throwing herself into the city's music scene.
Developing a unique style, the bedroom producer works on instinct, taking enormous chances with her work. Pieced together in her South London studio, new release 'EP1' is forthcoming.
Clash is able to air the D/R/U/G/S 404 remix of 'Why', and it's a curious re-working. Enhancing the colour of the original, the Mancunian producer is able to tease out new elements of Leena Ojala's production.
