Premiere: King Borneo – ‘It Doesn’t Matter Now’

Wonderfully languid psych-folk...

King Borneo doesn't like to be rushed.

The Stockholm based musician – real name Gustav Jennefors – likes to savour the experience of writing a song, the process behind each melody.

Which is perhaps why it's taken him five years to finally release his new EP. Out this summer, it's informed by time spent absorbing psychedelic sounds, allowing each innovation to spark off fresh ideas.

New cut 'It Doesn't Matter Now' is superbly languid, a wonderfully relaxing piece of psych-folk that wears its heart on its sleeve.

In Gustav's own words: “I really just wanna play some good songs for people and have fun, then bring the band to Borneo to see the jungle, chilling on hoverboards… then play some more”.

Tune in now.
