In his own quiet, patient way John Bramwell has built up one of the country's most astute songwriting catalogues.
Frontman with I Am Kloot, his work is playfully experimental while still being easy on the ear, disguising some often quite personal lyricism.
Recently deciding to head out on his own, John Bramwell packed up his VW campervan and hit the road, playing more than 300 shows across the UK, Ireland, and continental Europe.
New album ‘Leave Alone The Empty Spaces’ was pieced together on this voyage, using those long hours in the van to construct fresh material.
It's a breezy, invigorated return, the sound of a talented songwriter operating under no pressure, simply enjoying the thrill of chasing down an idea.
Out on February 2nd, Clash is able to preview the release by unveiling new cut 'Who Is Anybody?' and it's a blast.
Mature, well-honed songwriting, there's still that element of new discovery, with John Bramwell continually testing himself.
Tune in now.
