Bliss ambience from the electronic outlier...

‘Blue Sun’ starts with a calming breeze and ends up with a pulsing backdrop. At the start, you could almost call it meditating but soon it starts to disorientate the listener in an eerie yet euphoric hypnotic way.

London’s JKP goes into another realm of the minimalism electro with his new track. The contrast is deceiving and would almost be seen as surreal. Organic sounds are still the basis of his work but slightly more industrial influences have been thrown in to it.

JKP reigns from an unexpected place. The producer who has now completely indulged himself into London’s nightlife scene steered towards Brixton’s Phonox which included DJ sets from artists like Ross From Friends and HAAI.

Yet he never expected to be in this position. He started out in local bands and while trying to find the right sound for those he found his true calling, electronic music.

‘Blue Sun’, his new project is a unique experience that is created through the evolving blissful ambience of the scene. It’s almost like a trip into outer space and then back again.
