Wookie is a singular name in UK club culture.

A producer forever associated with the explosive growth of UK garage, Wookie was able to take his sound into the Top Ten while retaining his roots to the underground.

Still in near constant demand, Wookie recently agreed to re-work Jess Glynne's new single. A singer with an agile awareness of club culture, Jess may have the success - previous single 'Hold My Hand' soared to No. 1 - but she's also got the suss.

'Don't Be So Hard On Yourself' will be released on August 14th, a sumptuous return which displays the full range of the singer's impeccable voice.

Seizing hold of the track, Wookie remains respectful to the original but adds something of his own work to proceedings - all kicks and flicks, playful rhythms and a soft bed of bass textures, you can check it out below.
