Jasmine Rodgers isn't about to rush her music.
A patient, determined talent, she previously worked with Boa but has now gone it alone, unveiling a series of wonderful alt-folk cuts.
New double A-side single 'Icicles' b/w 'Sense' was produced by Dan Carey, and it's a wonderfully potent introduction to a talent stamping out her own identity.
Clash is able to premiere 'Sense', and it's a wonderful, evocative piece of songwriting. As one point she pauses, and sings: “Everyone needs to be believed, so then why don’t you put your faith in me?”
Why not, indeed…
