Izzy Flynn doesn't like to paint herself into corners.
Trained in jazz, she draws equally from house music and pop, R&B and indie. A songwriter with real depth, that is reflected in those she works with, in those who sit around her.
New cut 'Gracious' is a case in point. Those lush synths and rolling 808 beats are set against a hushed vocal, one that is pitch perfect in its emotional impact.
Out on August 5th, it could be compared to BANKS, to Jessie Ware, or even James Blake… but, really, it only sounds like Izzy Flynn.
