Premiere: Henry Krinkle – ‘Stay (Adesse Versions Remix)’

Rising New York producer...

Travel broadens the mind, as they say. Coming of age in Estonia, Henry Krinkle found himself living in the bustling metropolis of Shanghai.

Swamped in an astonishing sensual overflow, the producer responded via music. His imagination captured by what was loosely termed post-dubstep – think James Blake, Mount Kimbie – the Estonian sluiced this together with classic house.

Drenched in fluoro-textures, 2012's 'Stay' became a cause celebre. At once sitting alongside currents in UK but standing stubbornly apart, it has chalked up more than 30 million YouTube plays since then.

Remaining a perennial summer spin due to its sun-bleached tones, 'Stay' is set to gain a full release on October 26th via Relentless / Ultra.

A number of guest remixes have been commissioned, including a re-work from Adesse Versions. A reclusive artist with past releases on Ostgut Ton, Curle and Cocoon, the producer adds an uplifting under current of classic house to Henry Krinkle's adventurous melodics.

An odd mixture of complex beats and euphoric, soaring music, the remix matches a glorious, sunshine feel with a nagging melancholy – as if summer's end is in sight, and the party must come to an end.

New single 'Stay' could be a breakthrough moment, with Henry Krinkle gaining plays from some big name DJs. Adesse Versions remix picks up on these house vapour trails, teasing out something built to flood a dancefloor.
