A murky, expansive exploration of sound...
Hector Plimmer

Hector Plimmer recently released his debut album, a series of murky explorations through sound.

Fusing weight low-end with an ear for exotic samples, the producer's style is blessed with innate originality.

New EP 'Bulb' builds on this, the latest release on sought after label Albert's Favourites.

Out shortly as a digital only release, it features a smattering of new material alongside some handpicked remixes.

Sarathy Korwar has re-worked 'Shiver', and it's a dub-fuelled outing with a melodica line that recalls Augusta Pablo's spiritual vibrations.

The shuddering low-end is set against an ever-evolving rhythmic sense, with Hector Plimmer's work being pushed out toward fresh dimensions.
