Heartland is a new signing to Junkdog Records, a producer with a flair for travel.
Walking the Appalachian mountains, Heartland came across the itinerant poet/preacher Marybelle Connor. Travelling together, the producer returned to New York (to Todd Terry's flat, no less) to put this whole experience down on tape.
Allowing it to inspire his next move, self-titled cut 'Heartland' will be released on July 24th. Accompanied by remixes from Purple Disco Machine, and Cassini, the title cut is a tour de force of electronic idealism.
Glowing, shimmering, and at times disco-infused, it's just right for summer use. Check it out below.
