Half Crown are busy proving that the independent route is still entirely viable in British music.
Working completely without a record deal the band have sold some 10,000 CDs, while a recent PledgeMusic fund was swamped by fans.
Using this as a spur to propel them forwards, the band went into the studio to focus on fresh material.
A double A-side is forthcoming, with Clash able to premiere new cut 'Start It Up'. A real statement of intent from the group, it boasts plenty of bite while the influences range from Andre 3000 to The Rolling Stones.
