Toronto newcomers sign to Carpark...

Canada has a rich punk history.

In the past few days alone, Clash has written about Fucked Up and Fist City, with plenty new groups also catching our eye. Hailing from Toronto, Greys are responsible for a helter-skelter stramash which wouldn't sound out of place on the Dischord catalogue.

A furiously brattish racket, it's delivered with a deadpan face and a deliciously sardonic sense of humour. Newly signed to Carpark Records, Greys will release their new album 'If Anything' on June 17th.

Heading out on the road, the Canadian band are set to take their wares across North America for a lung-bursting series of shows.

Ahead of this, Clash is able to premiere new cut 'Pretty Grim'. The sound of a band falling apart at the seams yet maintaining expert control, this is sheer energy from start to finish.

Listen to it now.
