Great Ytene have a been a wandering spirit on London's music scene for some time now.
2014's Bella Union-backed EP was followed by a seven inch single on their very own Marshall Teller imprint.
Now they're ready to return with something quite different. The noise-pop outfit have wiped the slate clean, opting for something packed with rather more 'noise' and rather less 'pop'.
New cut 'George Street' is a case in point. Unrelenting from the off, it recalls 'Sonic Nurse' era Sonic Youth, or even the soon to be re-named Viet Cong.
Recorded by Iggy B (Bella Union Studios) and mixed by MJ at Suburban Studioin Leeds, it's a bold, empowered return.
Tune in now.
'George Street' will be released on March 4th via Marshall Teller.
