An inquisitive, probing project, Great Pagans have steadily built up an ethos of artistic independence. Unveiling an eponymous EP last year, the group are now geared up for a new release.
New album ‘Cupid In Error’ drops on October 20th, (pre-order link) following recent shows alongside Wolf Alice and Esben and the Witch. Clash is able to premiere new cut ‘The Life You Wanted’, and it’s a neat encapsulation of where the group is heading.
Sharply defined post-punk with an anthemic quality, ‘The Life You Wanted’ recalls Male Bonding or early Elastica. Edgy guitar music with a killer bassline, you can tune in below:
