Gerry Read and Kevin McPhee paired up in 2011, releasing the titanic 'Demolition Man'. Re-uniting, new cut 'FRUMMPPP' is out this week via Fourth Wave.
An intriguing return, it finds the production duo swapping the madcap samples of 'Demolition Man' for something rather more jarring. Exotic synths crash into one another, while the cocky stride of the percussion is delivered with a wry humour.
On the flip, the pair amplify the eccentricities of 'FRUMMPPP'. The strut is pushed to the fore, while the synths take on a vivid glare.
