A tale that drifts through worlds and languages...

Exact details first: Fröst is a collaboration between Franco-Swedish sound artist Johanna Bramli (vocalist for Stereolab offshoot Imitation Electric Piano) and Fujiya & Miyagi’s synth player and producer Steve Lewis.

But, as usual, biography can only tell so much. Fröst push pop out as far as it can go, three minute sound experiments that wrap tiny, minutely beautiful piece of sound around one another.

The pair have completed a new EP, one that will be released on the fast rising imprint Lost Room Records and is available to pre-order here.

New cut 'Crackling On The Wire' airs first on Clash, and it seems to drift through languages and entire worlds.

Inspired by the German poem The Erlking, it's partly sung in French, and partly sung in English - in an odd way, it's entirely universal.

Tune in now.
