Premiere: Fresh Snow – ‘January Skies’

Gritty psych-o-tronic fare from the wilds of Canada...

Fresh Snow not only tread their own path, they fell the trees, clear the land, and lay down the concrete.

Heavyweight instrumental fare, the Canadian group's output to date meshes together the Venn diagram between Krautrock, psychedelia, and even the odd slice of metal.

Grinding, corrosive industrial-level slabs of noise rock, Fresh Snow won huge acclaim in their native Canada (and beyond) with opening full length 'I' and follow up EP 'WON'.

New album 'ONE' continues this solitary path, with sessions taking place at a barn in rural Ontario. Allowed free rein, Fresh Snow seem to have returned from the wilds of Canada with their most visceral, immediate, and engrossing record yet.

New cut 'January Skies' finds solace in the vastness of the Canadian wilderness, and you can easily imagine Fresh Snow's barn hemmed in by winter.

Epic musicianship that looks out towards the extremes, you can check out 'January Skies' below.

Fresh Snow will release new album 'ONE' on September 9th.
