Two brothers with an unfathomably large record collection, Simon and Robin Lee flit between genres without caring for precedent. Fusing blistering rave tempos with everything from post-punk to Industrial, Balearic to disc, Faze Action aim to shatter the space between the dancefloor and the bedroom.
Debut album 'Body Of One' is out now, featuring guest contributions from multi-instrumentalist Zeke Manyika – lauded for his role in Orange Juice, The The and The Style Council.
Clash is able to premiere the Eric Dunks remix of 'Prisoner Of Your Love'. The original has the oscillating proto-techno feel which filtered through early Factory Records stalwarts Quando Quango, a hi-energy introduction to the Lee brothers' programming abilities.
The re-work throws Faze Action in a day-glo Detroit direction, sheer metallic Futurism with a defiantly funky feel.
