Glasgow based group announce debut LP...

Fatherson believe in songs.

Carefully constructed, straight-to-the-point songs. Soaring, sweeping, swooning songs. Songs that rise up, and songs that can fall back down in a graceful incline.

Formed in Kilmarnock, the four piece then moved to Glasgow where they began to make a name for themselves locally. Renowned venue King Tut's even stepped in, releasing the group's debut single on their in-house imprint.

Since then, things have really taken off. Fatherson have played shows across the country, supporting the likes of Frightened Rabbit and Twin Atlantic whilst taking notes in the process.

Debut album 'I Am An Island' is now complete, with Fatherson pairing up with A Modern Way for its release. Ahead of this, Clash have been granted a quick preview - and it's something quite special.

Already an epic highpoint in their live set, 'I Like Not Knowing' finds Fatherson on strident, confident form. Acutely judged, the track is perhaps the perfect entrance point for those new to their charms.

Listen to it below.
