Premiere: Etch – ‘Toxin’

Forthcoming on Wisdom Teeth...

Bristol is often seen as the epicentre of UK bass music – a place that's had a strong relationship with drum 'n' bass and trip hop, its multi-ethnic underground scene has spawned all nature of low frequencies. Operating out of the city is Facta's Wisdom Teeth, a label that's charted contributions from Hodge, Wen, Acre and the bossman himself.

Now arrives the third release on the fledgling label – and another sure-fire strike for the honcho with a split 12" between Brighton's Etch and K-Lone, Boiler Room have just premiered K-Lone's 'Broke'.

Etch cut 'Toxin' sounds like something that could've been recorded in a sewer, rippling with gutter-flavoured synth stabs and dark, textural percussion – even with a slower tempo compared to some of his junglist-leaning output, it's still bound to snap necks.

You can stop listening to all those radio rips and hear the track in full now.
