Premiere: Empathy Test – ‘Bare My Soul’

London synth duo with an emotive, sci-fi sheen...

Empathy Test hinges on the friendship between two friends, two musicians who know one another inside out.

So when something goes wrong, they can instantly sense it. New cut 'Bare My Soul' touches on this, on the relationship between them and the way they see the world.

A London synth pop duo (they expand to a four-piece for live shows) with a sci-fi sheen, 'Bare My Soul' drops on April 21st and is taken from their debut album.

The band say that 'Bare My Soul' "is literally about doing just that; baring one's soul."

"The music mirrors that feeling of release when you finally get things off your chest, moving from the dark, suffocating tightness of the verses into the bright, open space of the choruses. The people in the song; Stephen, Blythe, Cassandra and Sophie, are all real people that Isaac encountered growing up".
