Eliza and the Bear have an emotive edge to their songwriting.
Live, it can take things down a notch, tugging at your heart strings in a bittersweet fashion. Yet the band can also raise things up, lending a triumphant, euphoric air to proceedings.
Recently laying down material at the renowned Blackbird Studios in Nashville with producer Jacquire King (Kings of Leon, Of Monsters and Men, James Bay) the group are set to release their debut album in early 2016.
For now, Clash is able to premiere new single 'Lion's Heart'. The sound of a band coming into their own, it finds Eliza and the Bear surging forward, overcoming obstacles and stamping out their own identity.
Singer James Kellegher said: "'Lion's Heart' is a song telling someone that they are an absolute hero, but they don't even know it. It's about finding your own strength."
Out on July 27th, you can listen to 'Lion's Heart' below.
