Premiere: Elabor8 – ‘Waste Time’ EP

Slinkiemusic label owner returns...

Elabor8 is a new production voice from South London, an artist whose chilled take on techno's remnants is resulting in some enthralling music.

Certainly an artist to sit alongside the Erased Tapes roster, say, or even Jon Hopkins, the producer's new EP 'Waste Time' is out now.

It's an intriguing offering – three tracks emblazoned with a real sense of colour, the distorted sounds align in a fantastic ambience.

Opening cut 'Waste Time' is reminiscent of Brian Eno in its patient transgression, while 'OK Erm' has a wry sense of humour.

Closing with 'Heracles', it's a potent offering from a producer we look forward to watching in the future. Check it out now.
