A London based artist, Douglas Dare's sound has an international reach.
Recent album 'Whelm' was a wonderful return, earning widespread praise in the process. Released on Erased Tapes, the label is set to handle a further EP from the songwriter.
'Caroline / If Only' will be released on September 22nd, featuring contrasting cuts 'Caroline' and new track 'If I Knew I Were Alive'.
Alongside this, the EP will be packaged with remixes from Rival Consoles and Throwing Snow. As a special treat, Clash is able to premiere Rival Consoles' take on 'Swim'.
There's a sparsity to the sound, a fragility which seems to enhance the emotion of the vocal.
