Premiere: Dommengang – ‘Everybody’s Boogie’

Rock, but not rock...

It's the blues, but not the blues. It's rock music, but not rock music.

Dommengang's music thrives in analysing pre-existing structures, and then casually blowing those structures apart.

A trio with strong roots in experimental and DIY culture, the band also have a strong appreciation for Chicago blues and proto-punk tremors.

New album 'Everybody's Boogie' sits somewhere in between these two poles. Recorded and mixed over the course of four days, the record has a deeply physical impact, with Dommengang smashing into yr cranium and injecting some heavy-duty rock poison.

Clash is able to premiere the title track. Opening in a breeze of guitar effects, Dommengang's resolution slowly comes into focus, before the atom is split and waves of rock ambience pour forth.
