Each new release seems to take Denney further and further, heading in a fresh direction each time.
New EP 'Visualise' though, seems to take three new directions at the same time. Out on May 27th, it veers from effortless house bedlam to something rather more sedate, tech-influenced.
"All the tracks were approached slightly differently when I was making them,’ explained Denney of the EP, “I was aiming them for different parts of the night and inspired by different dance floors.”
The full package emerges via Crosstown Rebels, and – as usual – there's a select batch of expertly curated remixes on show.
Clash is able to premiere Luke Solomon's take on the title cut, and it's a languid, engrossing piece of gently euphoric house.
Rippling electronics underpin a neat vocal sample, with the whole thing recalling that ambition of the early 90s Jersey scene but with a very 2k16 sound.
