Dead Fader is the alter ego of John Cohen, a producer whose path has taken him from Brighton to Berlin.

Working continuously on his music since 2007, the producer seems to flit between experimental noise and rather more soothing textures.

New EP 'Sun Copter' will be released on September 4th via Robot Elephant Records, an inquisitive four track affair laced with vivid colour.

Clash is able to premiere new cut 'Black Maze' and it's a cerebral piece of techno production, gently probing the boundaries while retaining an emotional flourish.

Dead Fader: "'Black Maze' is my idea of a skippy techno banger, with a bit of a Radiohead thing going on. The other tracks of the EP take you more into space."
