At times, the crisp guitar riffs recall early Foals, while at others the surging synths and anthemic melodies nod towards the huge success of Two Door Cinema Club.
What comes through most clearly of all, though, is the band's need to stamp out their own identity. Clash is able to premiere a new cut from the Leamington Spa based outfit, and it demonstrates this clearly.
'2 2 2' is quite infuriatingly catchy, with Dance à la Plage distilling their nascent ambition into 142 seconds of summer energy.
