Tokyo trio CRYSTAL are set to release new album 'Crystal Station 64' on October 30th.
It's an intriguing offering from the three-piece, whose synth wizardry has prompted comparisons with Yellow Magic Orchestra – in a modern setting, of course.
There's a sense of the old school here, of Talking Heads, early Depeche Mode or the Art Of Noise, but it's delivered in a twisted, hyper-real way.
'Crystal Station 64' features Hyperdub producer Ikonika on its bonus cut, with Clash able to unveil album highlight 'Fast Fashion'.
