Hailing from the relatively out-of-the-way city of Sasketoon, the group's thoughtful, strident songwriting has earned them attention from both sides of the Atlantic.
New single 'For The Sun' will be released on December 8th, a beautiful piece of music with lyrics that radiate with a real sense of poetry.
On the flip, Close Talker have decided to tackle a modern indie staple. Recorded by Bon Iver, 'Perth' is a gorgeous track, steeped in Justin Vernon's wood-cabin wisdom.
Lending something of themselves to the song, the Canadian group's cover is faithful without being slavish, respectful but leaves room for their own interpretation.
