Cleo T. has broad ambitions.
A sonic magpie, the songwriter is drawn towards beautiful things wherever she can find them – and it's a truly international search.
Three years on from her debut album Cleo T. is back, and her new album draws on a global cast, including musicians from 12 different countries.
Now based in Berlin, new cut 'Shine' features production from club figurehead Rodion. Cleo T. says that the song "was in my mind during the whole writing process of the album. I knew its words and music by heart, without putting them on paper. I recorded it at the very last end, but it's the entrance door. It's as simple as a traditional, a prayer, calling for light and faith. When the night comes, when the silence is all over, you just need to close your eyes and focus on the invisible to make bright light appears."
Tune in now.
Cleo T. will release her new studio album in March 2017 – she plays London venue Servants Jazz Quarters tonight (October 26th) – ticket LINK.
