Premiere: Cayucas – ‘Moony Eyed Walrus’

Bouncy, buoyant Californian vibes...

Certain places arrives with a number of preconceptions.

London, for example, is often viewed as it is today: grey, overcast and dappled with rain. California, by way of contrast, bristles with enchanting possibility, a blue sky arched over golden lands.

Cayucas can't help but recall their Californian heritage. Twin, Zach and Ben Yudin impressed with debut album 'Bigfoot' back in 2013, and they're now able to unveil the follow up.

Sessions for the material was overseen by Ryan Hadlock at Bear Creek in Washington State, with 'Dancing At The Blue Lagoon' due to arrive on 22nd.

Fans who pre-order the record will be able to grab 'Moony Eyed Walrus' as a free download. Joyous, buoyant songwriting, the guitar lines fizz and crackle with a rare energy while the vocals fall over one another like kids on a bouncy castle. Ecstatic, gleeful fun, you can tune in below:
