Carl Barat & The Jackals are back.
New EP 'Harder They Fall' is a key part of important time for the band, who will play dates across the land as the summer months progress.
A crunching update on his Albion sound, Carl Barat's songwriting has rarely been stronger – looking backwards in order to go forwards.
He explains: “We (The Jackals) grew up in small British rural towns and all felt alienated with no sense of belonging. The videos for ‘Sister’ and 'Burning Cars’ allude to that feeling of being – isolated, lonely and trapped and for a lot of people that’s the way it is.”
Clash is able to premiere the video for new cut 'Burning Cars', and it's shot through with that sense of isolation.
Filmed and edited by Roger Sargent, the Carl Barat-directed clip features a cast of friends, including new group The Skinner Brothers who hail from Carl's hometown of Basingtoke.
