It's not often that Clash will encounter an artist who names himself in honour of a Buddhist term – but that's exactly what Boddhi Satva has achieved.
A Sanskrit term for being with enlightenment, Boddhi Satva has a sense of the spiritual in his music. Drifting, down tempo production allied to a vivid feast of futurist sounds, new album 'Transition' drops on September 18th.
Ahead of this, Clash is able to unveil new cut 'Slow It Down'. Hyper-real synths flush by, the fluoro sound set against the hushed, velvet tones of guest vocalist Crissy.
Recalling the digital soul of Flying Lotus and Andreya Triana's work on 'Tea Leaf Dancers' but with a unique spin, you can check out 'Slow It Down' below.
