Premiere: Black Fly – ‘I Don’t Know’

Pop songwriting with just a touch of the Gothic...

The backwoods of Vermont is one of most beautiful areas on the American continent.

It's a place to lose yourself in, a place to be swallowed up by the endless expanse, and the torrents of history that run alongside it.

Black Fly bases himself in these same backwoods, and it's impossible not to link his surroundings to the wonderfully Gothic pop he concocts.

With that husky voice and astute lyricism, Black Fly is able to skip from topic to topic, lifting a veil on the more tender aspects of humanity.

New cut 'I Don't Know' is gloriously infectious, with the lilting, softly uplifting arrangement sitting against that hushed delivery.

Tune in now.
