Premiere: Bad Breeding – Burn This Flag

Enraged Stevenage newcomers...

Britain is quietly, almost insidiously, burning.

It's a rage, a discontent which stretches across the land, but seems to fester in worn down, tattered areas. Areas of broken promises, of generations being left to rot because their vote doesn't count.

Areas like Stevenage. Sadly, the town boasted – if that is the right word – an enormous increase in youth unemployment during the recession, with opportunities becoming slim to non-existant.

So a band like Bad Breeding are, perhaps, inevitable. Informed by all shades of deviant rock 'n' roll from The Kinks to Black Flag, the group have an edge, a defiantly British voice which is impossible to shut down.

New cut 'Burn This Flag' makes its point explicit. Teaming up with award winning photographer and video artist Roger Sargent, the resulting clip is the perfect mixture of unrelenting music and visuals.

Depicting a broken but proud Britain, you can check it out below.

'Burn This Flag' will be released through Hate Hate Hate Records on August 25th. Bad Breeding are set to play the following shows:
